Why Are Routine Visits Important For Your Children?

Routine visits to the dentist are an essential part of a child’s health. You may wonder, why are baby teeth even important? Keeping an eye on your child’s oral health and making sure everything is going smooth is essential to sending them on the right track as they grow and develop. Regular visits help make sure to avoid potential health issues or address them right away if any do arise. Our routine examinations are thorough and comprehensive to ensure your child’s oral health is in great condition.

Pediatric Dentistry Camp Hill

Dental Cleaning Exams

At regularly scheduled visits to Cumberland Valley Pediatric Dentistry, you and your child will be greeted by one of our wonderful dental hygienists. The dental hygienist will check your child’s teeth and gums to make sure everything is developing well. They will also provide a fun dental cleaning.

We should be seeing your child every 6 months to give a good cleaning and prevent excess plaque build up in. This helps assist you and your child in the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease that can occur from untreated plaque.
