Dr. Irada Lahnemann, DMD

Dr. Irada is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She studied Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida before moving to Philadelphia, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania as a four-year Dean’s Scholar, with dual honors in clinical dentistry and community oral health. During her final year, Dr. Irada was awarded the Delta Dental Community Scholar in recognition for her commitment to serving the community of Philadelphia. After earning her dental degree, Dr. Irada attended the post-doctoral residency program in pediatric dentistry at the NCEF Pediatric Dental Center in Naples at the University of Florida.

Dr. Irada’s passion for pediatric dentistry blossomed from her childhood sweet tooth adventures and countless dental chair escapades over the years. No doubt, she totally understands the fidgety, nervous tango that happens in that dental chair and can magically soothe the jitters of the little tykes, drawing from her own chairside tales. Dr. Irada is all about advocating the wonders of preventative care, championing conservative and minimally invasive dentistry. Her mission? To teach the kiddos and their parents in the art of cavity evasion, sparing them from dental dramas as epic as her own!

As if Dr. Irada’s schedule wasn’t buzzing with excitement already, she sprinkles a bit of extra magic by lending a helping hand to kiddos at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. And hold onto your toothbrush, because that’s not all – she also wears the dental wizard hat, sharing her wisdom with budding pediatric residents and dental students at the University of Pennsylvania Pediatric Dental Clinic. In the world of Dr. Irada, there’s always room for a dash of fun and a sprinkle of dental enchantment!

When Dr. Irada isn’t busy chasing after sugar bugs, she can be found somewhere beautiful with her hiking boots on or finding zen on her yoga mat, that’s if she hasn’t ditched her muggle shoes and wondered off into the enchanting world of Harry Potter. Nestled in Lancaster, she shares her happy space with her partner-in-crime, Ryan, and their purrfect feline companion, Moxy. It’s a blend of outdoor escapades and cozy cat cuddles that makes Dr. Irada’s off-duty moments lively and magical.

Dr. Irada is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
