Dr. Gamaelle Tellus , or “Dr. Gam” as she is known by her patients is a pediatric dentist and a New York native.  Dr. Gamaelle earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville TN. While at Meharry, she graduated with honors and won awards in operative dentistry and periodontics. Those who know her best would describe her as friendly, organized, compassionate, and someone who always knew what was going on. 

Dr. Gam always knew she wanted to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She has worked with kids in many different facets throughout her life. As a child she was a gymnast, and she loved the sport so much that she started coaching competitive gymnastics at 17 years old to spread that love for the sport to the next generation. Having that experience of teaching children something she loved inspired her to continue reaching out to the youth in her professional career. 

After graduating dental school, Dr. Gam continued her education in specialized training at Temple University Hospital’s Pediatric Dentistry Program in Philadelphia. Here, she perfected her skills in providing the highest level of dental care to children. She received the highest level of specialized training in the field, with exposure to the latest and greatest advancements in pediatric dentistry. 

Dr. Gam understands that childhood is the perfect time to provide positive experiences at the dental office so that her patients can develop a lifelong love of the dentist. She is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care to children of all ages, and strives to make every dental experience fun, comfortable, and rewarding.

In her spare time, Dr. Gam loves trying different variations of chicken and waffles, hiking, traveling, playing Mario Kart and spending time with her husband, Dr. Adem (who she graduated from Meharry Medical College with) as well as here puppy, family and friends.
